U-CAT 3513N is an aliphatic dialkylurea used as a hardener for polyurethane foams. It is less active than U-CAT 3512T, but has a longer shelf life.

How to make U-CAT 3513N
U-CAT 3513N is prepared by the reaction of dimethylamine with urea in the presence of a catalyst (such as hydrochloric acid).
Use of U-CAT 3513N
U-CAT 3513N is used as a curing agent for polyurethane foam. It is suitable for applications that require good flexibility and low toxicity. U-CAT 3513N can also be used as a curing agent for other thermosetting resins such as epoxy and polyester resins.
